What are the benefits of switching to bamboo toothbrushes? How would you implore others in your community to make this switch as well?

I think that bamboo toothbrushes are great. I do not currently compost, so I am worried about how to properly dispose of it once I need a replacement brush. But it definitely uses less plastic and is an easy switch!

I think it’s been a great experience learning new ways to reduce single use plastic, and waste in general. I’m excited to keep it up after the challenge is over.

I love using my yeti for drinks, It keeps them cold so long. Which is perfect for me,
I’m always leaving my water bottle somewhere and finding it later.  I love finding it an hour later in the heat, and it still has ice!

Today I was doing laundry and noticed I’m almost out of detergent in the giant plastic container. After researching more green options (and realizing I’m not up to making my own from scratch!), I purchased some Dizolve laundry detergent strips. One tiny strip, the size of a movie ticket, cleans a load of laundry and reduces plastic waste and 94% of transportation pollution. We’ll see how it goes!
