Actually got out of the supermarket without plastic. It helped that it was Moms and they have paper bags for their bulk bum items.

Used my shampoo bar this morning.  Thanks Megan Anderson for helping me get over the hurdle on this one!

I started this one last year and have now been using bar shampoo and conditioner for a full year. Not missing the liquid stuff. And so much easier for traveling.

Trying to shop from the bulk bins more - also trying to use my own containers so I don’t use the plastic bags the stores provide. I’m not going to lie - my recent experience at Sprouts in Towson was subpar.

I don't own (or have access to a cow) so I need to buy milk.  There is no completely plastic-free option that I know of.  At least the returnable glass jug has a second (third, fourth, fifth....) life.

I help out at Wilson's farm in Bel Air and they sell Keyes Creamery milk in these glass jugs - and even have chocolate & strawberry options (and egg nog in the winter) so if you're in the area stop by to try it!  If you return the bottle you get the $2.00 bottle deposit back.

I'm looking forward to learning new ways to reduce my plastic use.  I'm tired of plastic packaging and desperately want to learn how to reduce.
