REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhy do you think these produce products started amassing so much plastic packaging? Who is the plastic packaging really serving -- the consumer, the producer, or someone else?
Jane Ballentine 7/11/2019 11:28 AMI think it's supposed to protect the producer (germs!) and then the consumer (germs!). But this might also go to the relative ease of putting produce in your grocery cart in a bag so all the produce roll does not around and become separated making it difficult once you get to check out. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
Jane Ballentine 7/11/2019 11:16 AMI started using metal straws last year and have come to keep them with me everywhere I go. -
