I am terrible at remembering to bring my bags in the store even though I have them in my car. So I either buy more or do without. Sooner or later the habit will stick!!

I remembered, but didn’t take enough. I told the bagger to put the unbagged items in the cart and put them in tote bags when I got to the car today! Thanks for sharing. We’re in it together.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

There is so much plastic and packaging--as much and maybe more than there is food. I look for things with less and recyclable packaging now. I also eat fresher foods by minimizing the packaged items I buy.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use Reusables at Work
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

Our work has a reusable plates and silverware. So even if you forget your own you don't have to resort to plastics.
