If anyone is looking for trash to pick up, try the Lakefront!! I picked up a full bag in a half hour.

Have you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.

Today at Company Burger I asked for no straw and no lid, but they weren't giving out ANY lids and the straws they gave to patrons were paper, which is a start!!

For some reason I committed to sign a petition every day - how can anyone do that?!? That seems like it should have been a one-a-month challenge!! But I'm doing pretty well with the others.

How difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?

I find it very aggravating when grocery stores automatically start bagging in plastic bags, even when I bring my own!!  And if someone doesn't bring their own bags, they should at least ask if they want paper or plastic. At least paper is recyclable.
