Loofah Replacement

I have been using plastic loofahs for....years. A few years ago, Target started selling a brand called EcoTools, which has a loofah made of recycled plastic, which felt like win to some extent. Fast forward to today and I cannot bring myself to purchase another disposable loofah. My goal is to crochet a shower scrubby that will be washable and provide the exfoliation that I love so much, but get it without having to buy more plastic.

An update from adventures at Disneyland... they have moved to paper straws throughout both parks! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge hosts not one, but two water bottle filling stations (there were lines at both!). Hopefully Disneyland will continue their efforts to reduce the amount of single use plastics being used throughout the parks.

I just learned that one of my family's fave vacation spots is starting to install water bottle filling stations! Three cheers to Mammoth Lakes, CA for encouraging their residents and tourists to reduce single use plastics!

I went to the dentist this morning and I was talking to my hygienist about toothbrushes. She mentioned that they were looking for bamboo options to hand out to patients. They haven't found anything that works for them yet in both quality and price, but the search is on! I'm glad to know that my dentist is working towards getting in on the plastic reduction revolution.
