Saugerties Green Team

This has been an important and interesting challenge for me; while I didn't complete all the daily actions , it made me more aware of the choices I make in daily life, to reduce and refuse plastics; and to tell other people about this.

called Kohl's mailing to not receive their catalog wrapped in plastic any longer!

I am trying to add some activities we did as a group and it doesn't seam possible.

I realize we're nearing the end of the month, and I have not been doing specific daily challenges; however, I signed on to a letter written by Janet Asian and other members of the Saugerties Green team, to Adams Fairacre Farm. buying unpackaged food is still a challenge at the  regular supermarkets. We just recently wrote to the local markets to reduce their packaging. 

I am looking forward to make my own face cream, but have not had the time yet. In the interim I use Olive oil or coconut oil to for my hair.

I would love to make my own face creams, but did not have the time yet. 

A lot of the challenges i signed up for I follow everyday and  are integrated into my life style already. To go on line and check in everyday is a bit of a task.

My kids just traveled overseas and I encouraged them to pack light and take as little as possible.

I like to travel light and it is easy to refill the travel containers.
