So, I’m loving my new dryer balls...  but I still get a little static.  Any suggestions??

Living with little plastic is my normal now. It can be challenging and inconvenient in our culture (the U.S.) but once you form your routine it becomes much easier. The only areas I really struggle with now are with medical objects (allergy medicine container, toothbrush, etc.) and certain fruit that I can only find in plastic containers.

I think that it helps show people that there are other people who care like they do, and that we have the ability to make positive change.

Our focus needs to be on creating a healthier, happier sustainable society. In our current system a lot of times we are posed with a bad choice and a less bad choice (for example paper or plastic bag). We need to change our focus from finding the less bad option to finding the best and healthiest option and making it the most accessible for...

Volunteering at the Wildlife Rescue Center not only allows me to care for sick and injured native wildlife, it also brings me together with other animal lovers. It's inspiring to be around so many people passionate about helping animals.

I have signed up for Clean Cult.  They advertise their products are made with all natural ingredients, and recyclable packaging.  They send a refillable bottle in your initial package, then smaller refills are sent in cardboard cartons.   The laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent are tablets that...

So, when I'm at home or at work, I use a reusable water bottle / coffee cup.  However, when I go to a fast food restaurant...  they give you the paper cup...  I do bring my own straw already... and most of the cups are recyclable.   BUT!  The lids...  they are not!  So, I'm thinking I may start just taking my own reusable cup with me??  I don't...

I purchased a set of Wool Dryer Balls.  I have used them a couple of times.  So far, they seem to be doing a pretty good job.  My clothes are still pretty soft.  I did notice some static on my last load of laundry, but I've read that you need to use about 5 dryer balls for a larger load of clothes... so I may need to get another set.

Since I JUST made the switch 2 days ago, the only benefits I know of really are the environmental benefits of keeping the plastic waste out of the landfills when it's time for a new brush.

In theory, this is a very easy challenge.  But, in practice - not so much.  I have many, many, reusable bags... but seem to always forget them when I go to the store.
