    I’ve been  seriously working to reduce my use of single use plastics since  February. One of the hardest places to do that is with food packaging.  I’ve been planning meals around produce I can buy loose and put in my mesh bags. I’ve switched to bar shampoo and have been using bar soap forever. I will keep up the effort after this challenge is...

    Lunch cruise on Lake Union in Seattle. We had Salmon, but I inquired about whether it was wild or farmed. The Orcas appreciate us saving the wild salmon for them.

    I already do many of these actions.  Started my serious effort to reduce/eliminate single use plastic during lent.  I have kept up that effort.

    I’m hosting a potluck supper on the 4th of JulyBecause I’m trying to do the Plastic Free EcoChallenge for July, I was able to find these picnic packages at Amazon for a 4th of July potluck. They were VERY reasonable – plates, cups, napkins and cutlery (with a tablecloth thrown in) for 16 people for less that $15. And it’s all made out of wheat...
