Changing the world one bag at a time

Working on a 30 second response to the "Is Plastic OK?" question that comes before the cashier realizes I have my own bags. No, I am not OK with plastic. Are you aware of its impact on our oceans?  

Making time for the farmers market today.

HIking the Ozark Trail, we collected a bag full of plastics and other trash.

Thankful for LOCAL HARVEST, and their commitment to bulk items. I was able to refill dish detergent bottles and also saw that they have olive oil, shampoo and conditioner.

Getting my classroom ready for the school year and contemplating ways to reduce the school use of plastic.

Spent yesterday preparing for a colonoscopy and everything was in plastic. Medical plastic!?! There must be other optios.

Frustrated that I need to choose the more expensive grocery store if I want produce without plastic. 

Spent the day with a friend at the Hospital as they had a procedure done---so much medical plastic. Are there any hospitals with a focus on reducing their plastic while maintaining their sterility?
