A Better Tomorrow

Today I really had to check myself on only buying what I need. I found a plant that I fell in love with and was ready to buy it when I remember I am challenging myself to only buy things for my "health and safety". Not that I won't buy a plant again in the future, but I feel I have gained a little more control over my habits. 

I had removed myself from social media for almost a year, but am back with a fresh take on what the platforms have to offer. Through the influence of this challenge, I am prepared to raise awareness for the problems we face as a global community and call for action amongst those in my life. eeek eeek eeek! All our clothes are made of this stuff, this is a big goal of mine. My challenge is vegan-friendly, non-polly fabrics.   

This is something that I have to work on every day. We are bombarded with what is new, must have, and things that will make us "feel" good. But in the end all that stuff does not make you feel good, you end up feeling obsolete when the newest thing comes out and you "have to have it". 99% of the stuff we buy is thrown away...

Tomorrow is the day :) I am excited to see what we all learn, and what kind of changes we can make! Talking with some of you, just signing up has already started some changes.
