If traveling, I will reuse my old travel tubes to refill with my soaps or only bring bar soaps with me in a TSA approved reusable quart sized bag.
If traveling, I will bring my own plastic free items (water bottle, grocery bags, collapsible food containers, utensils, straws, etc.) with me.
I will pick up 2 piece(s) of litter each day.
I will start a compost collection at home, work, or school.
Something I started doing about a year ago was to sign up for emailed receipts from stores. Right now I get them from Lowes, Home Depot, Sam's Club & Publix & my reasons are 2-fold. First, it cuts down on paper waste because what do we do with all those receipts....look at them & toss them. (into recycle hopefully) Second, it gives me an electronic copy of my purchases to match up with my credit card online statement & to refer back to if/when I need to return something. I've created an email folder named "2019 receipts", and pile them in there. Next year, they'll be dumped and renamed to "2020 receipts" and set into my email box right along side my "2020 Taxes" e-folder!
