Kitty box cleaning

I was thinking about the fact that I use a plastic bag daily to clean my cat's litter box. I went to a whole foods store, and found biodegradable bags. While not paper, they do say they can be composted. Think that's one less plastic bag daily, even if it is a little more expensive!

I went to McDonald's yesterday to get a soda. When I told them I didn't need a straw, because I had my own, the teen staff member behind the counter actually smiled and said "Thank You". It was nice having someone from the younger generation recognize what we're trying to do!  :)
