Anne McGovern 7/04/2019 6:56 AMYou know, with all of the companies that let you order things online, going plastic free is actually less work in some cases than going to the store to buy more plastic items of this or that! I just ordered some bamboo toothbrushes from here: https://www.brushwithbamboo.com/. And some trial-size items from this place which looks pretty neat: https://www.plaineproducts.com/. -
Anne McGovern 6/29/2019 9:20 AMExcited about this! In order to get ready the first two things I'm doing is buying some of those reusable food wraps: https://www.biome.com.au/lunch-boxes/17116-vegan-reusable-food-wraps-3.html?cfclick=254e035ee4e948af91095aa827d5fbc8. And looking up the rules for composting in my area. I know we have a bin somewhere, but the question is where!-
Anne McGovern 7/03/2019 1:04 PMHi Karen, ah! I don't remember this actually I think you might be thinking of someone else! :) :) :) -
Karen Buck 6/30/2019 1:09 PMHi Anne,
Karen Buck, here. We "met" years ago. You gave my Green Team a composter! -
Anne McGovern 6/29/2019 9:42 AMI searched around a little more for the wraps since the ones at the above link are a little $$, and found this: https://www.eco-kiddles.com/. It came out to a little over 20$ with shipping for a large pack. I would also be interested in making my own in the future if anybody has any good links to share for how to do it! :)
