    It takes a bit more work, but at least you know the ingredients, so potentially less toxic

    Saves money, but also healthier for my pets. In addition, being in a smaller household, sometimes things like veggies can go bad before we finish, so giving them to pets helps mitigate food waste.

    It is very convenient and saves me a trip to the grocery store if I just needed some small ingredients to add to our cooking
